looking for what it's crawling with, what's living, what's borning, what's dying

what's borning in the city's ruins, in the wastland

near to the birth

my eyes are travelling like worlds' surgeons.

The airport is between two things

a letter is written over there

A story begins

Feel what will change

 

The letter is a voice

A history that permeates

A reflection of the real

 

The voice is off

I change it with the meetings with spaces and people history

Process

 

Before, I never write screenplay for my movies. I was writting some poems, snatches of stories, I travel in the reality with an imaginary map.

Now my process is changing. I'm leaving Paris with a scenario, like a testimony, a letter. The caracter speack about the attachment, the roots and the disruptions prompt by this city and its story.

 

The places' state make me work differently. In Detroit, I need a remit, otherwise the reality overwhelms me.

My first questions – what's the life's meaning here ?

What's the future of the stories and the Story here ?

If the Detroit Institute of Art is empting, the Diego Rivera's fresco will be erode ?

 

I can stop to rewrite my movie's story as I go along the city and the life here. 

That provokes me a lot. The filming process would seems to me in link with the creation space, the interior and external state. Like backwards and forwards movements between intimity and the collective.

 

I tell stories from the intimate vision. I'm attentive to the world. It's changing. It's changing me. 

The reality dances.

 

The neighbors tell about their street which is floating between an abandoned house and a familiar barbecue. Survival ?

A mix of emptiness and life. Their house is sagging.
