As young graduates, we feel the fragility of our time and the current system. Due to the situation we question daily the role of the youth, the capitalist system and the cycle of civilizations. We are concerned about the consequences of this crisis.

The urban situation of the United States raises concerns, because the crisis finds its origin there, it has the advantage of working as a magnifying glass. Also because of the American dreams decay we‘ll go to see, meet, question and understand.

The creation of artistic projects and the travel are our unique ways of acting and thinking the world. Facing unknown and adventure, the travel is part of the creation and brings us back to reality. We are three explorers : Explorer A, Explorer C and Explorer S. Each with our unique perspective, we will cross the territory of the Rust Belt. From Chicago (IL) via Detroit (MI) to Pittsburgh (PA) we will collect materials (soundtrack, photos, videos, accounts ...).

 

​Our objective is to question, observe, walk a new territory. We’ll explore the habitat, meet the inhabitants. We’d like to proceed as an outdoor laboratory, in the reality of a collapsing territory. As a window open on the vanity that mix the violent death of a city with its rebirth.

​On our return we will set up several exhibitions in Paris, places for exchanges, meetings, and share our questionings, our views, our discoveries during the crossing. During the setting we can rethink, take distance with the experiments and experiences and pass them on.
